This website and social media are a personal project by a Miami Beach resident who admires this fantastic asset and sees the scope for improvement.

MISSION

Creating a community of Beachwalk fans who wish to explore, share, enjoy, admire and protect this incredible asset in a safe and respectful environment.

Using different media outlets and visual communication to present the beauty and uniqueness of the Beachwalk at Miami Beach and its surrounding wellness sport-oriented attractions to the visitors and locals as a fantastic experience of an active and healthy lifestyle.

Reusable & Sustainable branding: The aim is not to produce typical branded products (t-shirts, water bottles, etc.) but to implement so-called ‘reusable & sustainable branding’ to help protect our environment. Users wear their own clothing or gear and attach the BW custom-designed BIB’s – reusable, wearable, versatile, environmentally friendly signage!

Branding & Creative director Djordje Milekic lives and works in Miami Beach. Residing by the Beachwalk, he is passionate about the environment, his sunrise exercises, and his bike commutes to work. A stubborn optimist, he believes that the MB community can make a difference in making BW safer.

Originally from former Yugoslavia, Djordje has been living in Miami Beach since 2005. The projects he directed were exhibited and presented at The One Club, Art Directors Club NYC, AIGA National Design Center, NEXT Conference, AIGA Leadership Retreat, Belgrade Design Week, The Wolfsonian FIU, Museum of Contemporary Art, Belgrade, and more.

His works were featured in New York Times, Step, How, Print, ID, Graphis, Creativity, Communication Arts, The Art of Design, Graphic Agitation II, Colossal Design, and many other magazines and publications.
