SoBeWFF: Sumptuous Feast on the Sand

Each year the South Beach Wine & Food Festival (SOBEWFF) takes over the sands of Miami Beach and beyond. Their iconic, white peaked tents of the Grand Tasting Village, on the beachside in tents along 13th Street and Ocean Drive, form a seaside city just a few hundred feet away from the Beachwalk. 

The festival consists of many events, some private, some open to the trade only, and many many more open to the public. Entire weekend (February 24-27, 2022) of star-studded culinary events with the food world’s top-notch celebrities. Dinners, Burger Bashes, Wine Tastings, Brunches, Cocktail Parties, Seminars, VIP galas… you name it, but as you can guess, it’s about food & wine… till you get exhausted from food and wine, or sun, or both…

Keep in mind that traffic in South Beach can be challenging, parking as well. You might want to consider leaving your car further away, renting a City Bike, and taking a fantastic Beachwalk to Tasting Village. Casual clothes (high heels – not sand friendly), hats, sunscreen, water. You might not feel the South Florida sun right away, but if you don’t take precautions, there are chances you won’t’ recognize yourself in the evening.
