Beachwalk – Wellness Paradise found!
One of the United States’ most distinctive and attractive places for running, biking, walking, roller skating, and more is the newly built Beachwalk Miami Beach. Nine miles long, this unique path connects dozens of nearby beach-based activities, including surfing, swimming, snorkeling, paddle-boarding, daily yoga, meditation, boot camps, full moon drumming, and the famous Muscle Beach. This stretch of land is a paradise for an active lifestyle that brings thrill and bliss to its users.
The final segment of the Beachwalk was completed in Spring 2022. This spectacular 8-mile oceanfront promenade spans the entire length of the city – from South Pointe Park in South Beach through Lummus Park and continuing North before ending after North Beach Oceanside Park.
Many of us in this city have had a lifelong dream of being able to enjoy sweeping views of the ocean as we jog, walk or ride a bicycle from one end of Miami Beach to the other. The Beachwalk is the fruition of that dream.
Miami Beach visitors and residents are no strangers to the experience of walking by the beach. The original wooden boardwalk in Miami Beach ran the stretch in Mid-Beach from 23rd to 46th Streets. Due to wooden planks, bikers and skaters were not allowed in that section. The newly built stone-pawed path takes the experience to another level.
The Beachwalk in Miami Beach is part of the larger East Coast Greenway, a walking and biking route stretching over 3,000 miles from Maine to Key West. This system of pedestrian and bike paths promotes alternative transportation and connects communities to parks, cultural institutions, and business centers.
Beachwalk provides a view of a distinctive landscape with sand dunes followed by the beach to the East. They are constant reminders that you are where you are. On the West, an impressive row of substantial apartment buildings is interspersed with classic art deco structures.
#BeachwalkMB in Miami Beach is one of the United States’ most distinctive active lifestyle hot spots. Like a spine or an artery, it offers its lovers the ultimate outdoor experience on the path and along its stretch.
